Perjalanan ke Ternate-Tidore-Halmahera akhir Oktober ku
Salam backpacker,
Tgl 28 oktober kapal merapat di pel.sorong pukul 8 pagi dan berangat pukul 11.30am WIT, perjalanan dengan tiket ekonomi membuat kami berdua harus mencari lapak, karena tidak dapat kasur di cabin dalam dan juga di ruang tangga2/lorong2 di dalam. kami terpaksa harus mencari di dek luar, alhamdulilah kami mendapat spot di dek luar belakang. dengan matras ukuran 2x1 meter yg kami bawa kami duduk dan tidur di sana. pd malam hari hujan turun dan atap bocor, terpaksa kami bangun dan mengungsi, waktu sudah pukul 10 malam, kami tidak jadi tidur lagi karena hujan dan dingin. pada pukul 2am WIT tgl 29 oktober kapal merapat di pel.ternate. dari kejauhan terlihat gemerlap lampu kota ternate yang indah menghampar dari pinggir pelabuhan hingga ke dataran tinggi di kaki gunung gamalama.
Kemarin saya baru saja berkunjung ke maluku utara, 5 hari trip. saya sedang dinas PTT di Kab.Tambrauw, papua barat. kebetulan sedang tidak tugas dan kembali ke kota sorong bersama teman PTT kab.Sorong, papua barat, dr.dito. kami berdua ingin jalan2 mengunjungi teman kami di maluku utara, kebetulan ada kapal pelni km.dorolonda tanggal 28 oktober berangkat sorong-ternate, dan ada kapal pelni km.sinabung ternate-sorong tanggal 1 november, maka kami pesanlah segera tiket ekonomi ternate-sorong dengan KM.Dorolonda seharga Rp.191rb (Sudah dengan pajak, dsb).

Going for Lebaran Idul Fitri in Jakarta
Hi, i guess tomorrow will be another journey to me. Actually, after 3 months in Papua for my assignment here, it started to got me bored, and September 11th is the celebration day for all moslem in whole world, Idul Fitri 1431H, so i really wanna be with my family at that time. But i'm thinking it will so wasted if i just flying straight to jakarta from sorong, in fact the airplane obviously will transit in makassar, then it came to my mind that this trip to go home will be just another journey for me.
From sorong i will take flight to makassar, spend a night there, then fly again to jakarta at night. So i'll got a chance to see and explore makassar city since i've never been there before (all this time just transit in their airport but not the town). When it is time for me to go back to sorong, i will take a flight that go to manado, then fly again from there to sorong, but that time, i will spend 6-7 days in manado, cause i want to take diving course there and cross to Bunaken Island that my father always told me since i was a kid.
I have planned it very well, and the total price for the flights seem to be cheaper than if i take flight directly from sorong - jakarta and jakarta - sorong. So..it really nothing to loose, hehe :)
At August 30th i will fly by merpati airlines to Makassar, stay the night, then at august 31st fly again by the same airlines to Jakarta, i will arrived in Cengkareng at late of night. For the going back trip to where i work, i'll take direct flight to manado using Batavia air by September 30th, and fly again to Sorong using Merpati Air at October 6th.
So this trip for me to celebrate Idul Fitri with family take me to the place i've never been there, Makassar and Manado, those 2 cities are some of many must have visited cities in Indonesia. I get so exciting, i also had planned my itinerary there, where i'm going to stay, place to eat, the interensting places to visit, the transportation, and for the map, i'll be using my google maps in my Samsung Jet mobile phone :)
The one thing that i regret is i'll be travelling alone, since there're no friends of mine that come home at that day. it's so unfortunate because travelling by 2 or more will reduce the budget, hehe, and obviously more fun. well, but it's alrite, no friends doesn't make me afraid to travelling and satisfy my des to see Indonesia, my beautiful country.
